If anybody is to make money it should be the creator. I notice from time to time in our national newspaper (The Globe & Mail) that they've picked up illustrations from the "LA Times Syndicate" ... I wonder who gets whatever bucks are paid for the re-use? And then there's the local illustrator who earns nada thanks to the stock image craze. I feel the same about writers. And how much do they get paid of the money that went towards buying their creation for the newspaper or magazine so that a third party could sue on their own behalf.

The correct term is; "bottomfeeder".
Of course, if an email campaign began to the Las Vegas whateverthefuck, that they will never be read again by yourself or anyone that you can contact about it and all advertisers will be sent letters that their products or services will be boycotted as long as they do business with bottomfeeders like this, this fuck could be out of a job. But there is that word; "if".

There is some discussion on another board that only POSTERS are being prosecuted and that a 'take down notice' first is supposedly one of your rights, but I wouldn't depend on that for security.
And there is no hard source for that -- only what the emailed article states about it. It is much easier to post in the abbreviated manner and make them look harder and spin their wheels trying to find people to sue.
