We have crazy weather in the summers here. We've had a week of rain now, after having none for many weeks.

Some claim that the mildew can be caused by periods of dry/wet.

I was diligent w/my watering, but eventually got the mildew anyway.


I posted pix of my bush type butternut here a few weeks ago. I just pulled the plants that were lush in the pic. I got tons of squash, but some sort of fungus moved in.


I might just research resistant varieties next year, and see what happens.

Our frost goes about 3 ft. deep here.

I harvest broccoli right up until the temps. reach the 20's. Sometimes, that'll be late November.

Other than that....gardening is over.

Well it is @ least defined there......... OUrs kinda run into/together so it makes it a bit more difficult when to decide to pull stuff up & plant for the next season......>>> Summer/fall.............. Spring/summer
